Lighting Designer
Technical Director

Ryan Hoffman is a student focusing on all technical aspects of theatre. While the bulk of his work is Lighting Design, he also has experience in Scenic Design and Prop Automation. Ryan has lit shows such as Beauty and the Beast, Bright Star, Chicago, and Hello, Dolly, along with many dance reviews and small shows.
Ryan has also made props such as a working Beauty and the Beast rose and designed the set for A Christmas Carol. He has been honored with awards such as a Superior for One Act Tech in Us and Them at both Florida Thespians States and Districts, Broadway Star of the Future nomination for his Chicago lighting design, and Top Honors for A Christmas Carol set design at Florida Thespians Districts.
Ryan has been involved in Technical Theatre and has taken many classes at his high school, he has also attended the exclusive New York University TISCH Production and Design Summer workshop. He has led multiple production crews and taught over fifteen students how to use technical boards.
